In case you didn’t recognise it, the name of the salon is inspired by a lyric from the song, The Origin of Love, from the seminal noughties rock-musical, Hedwig and The Angry Inch.
An amalgam of gods, myths and legends, The Origin of Love explores our need to connect through storytelling and shared experience: to love and be part of a community. Whether through friendship or romance, we all need to feel connected and a part of something bigger than ourselves. Storytelling is not only expressed through art and music: your hair tells a part of the story of who you are. And I love a chance to share our stories!
